Grand Chief's Project

The Grand Chief of Texas, Darla Balogh is raising money for her Grand Chief's project.

Every year the Grand Chief of Texas  raises money for a project at the Texas Pythian Home. 

Darla's project is redesigning the mail room and storage closets in the Administration Building. 

This will allow more storage for the maintenance men and help keep the main floor organized.

The Grand Chief is an elected position within the Pythian Sisters Grand Temple.  The Pythian Sisters are a Fraternal Order and the Pythian Home is their #1 Charity. 

All money raised for the Quilt Drawing  will go to the Grand Chief's Project.

The Drawing will be held in June of 2025 at the Awards Banquet for the Grand Lodge and Grand Temple of Texas (Pythian Convention).

It has become a tradition for the Grand Chief to have a quilt drawing for her project to raise money.  Darla loves Pink Roses and It is hand made with Love by a fellow Pythian.  The quilt usually follows Grand Chief's Emblem.
